Pescheux
Champagne Pescheux, located in the picturesque Côte des Bar within the Sarce Valley, is a family-owned estate that spans 6 hectares of sunlit marl-limestone slopes. This southern Champagne region, characterized by its hilly terrain and abundant sunshine, provides an ideal setting for the cultivation of Pinot Noir, the cornerstone of their champagnes. Alongside this varietal, the estate also produces Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, which enhance the complexity and balance of their blends, resulting in wines that are round, generous, and expressive. With a history steeped in family tradition, Champagne Pescheux began over 50 years ago when Christian's parents established the estate and embraced the art of vinification. Today, Christian and his wife Magali continue this legacy as Récoltants-Manipulants, overseeing every aspect of production from pressing to bottling. At Pescheux, time is respected in the winemaking process, with each cuvée aged to achieve a harmonious and mature profile. Their champagnes, known for their sincerity and artisanal craftsmanship, beautifully reflect the terroir of the Côte des Bar, showcasing a delightful balance of fruitiness and elegance.
