Bernard Robert

Bernard Robert is a distinguished champagne house located in the Côte des Bars, a region historically overshadowed by the more famous terroirs of Champagne. Founded in 1945 by Marie-Madeleine Dosne and her husband Bernard Robert, this house has deep roots in the local viticulture and has played a vital role in showcasing the unique characteristics of their terroir. The Côte des Bars is known for its diverse microclimates and lesser-known grape varieties, such as Pinot Blanc, Petit Meslier, and Arbane, which enrich the flavor profiles of their champagnes. The estate spans around thirty hectares across seven communes, managed by the family’s next generation of winemakers. Over the years, the Robert family has preserved the authenticity of their champagnes while modernizing their production methods. Notably, the construction of their traditional vaulted cellars involved meticulous work with local stones, ensuring a connection to the region's heritage. Bernard Robert continues to produce exceptional cuvées, including blends of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, reflecting the distinctive terroir of the Champagne region.
