Leclère Pointillart

Situated in Écueil, a Premier Cru village within the Montagne de Reims, the Leclère-Pointillart estate is celebrated for its exceptional terroir, primarily known for producing outstanding Pinot Noir. Spanning approximately 9 hectares across various communes, the vineyard is characterized by clay-limestone soils that face southwest, which facilitates optimal ripening of the grapes while maintaining the necessary freshness for balanced wines. The estate's blend is a true reflection of its roots, comprising 80% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay, and 5% Pinot Meunier. Founded in 1947 by Jules Brochet, the estate has evolved through the dedication of generations, including André Leclère and Jean Pointillart, culminating in the establishment of the Leclère-Pointillart brand in 1978. Today, Guillaume Leclère upholds this family tradition with a focus on sustainable viticulture and meticulous craftsmanship. Each cuvée is crafted with care, from manual harvesting to vinification in stainless steel tanks, ensuring the wines retain their fruit purity. The result is a collection of champagnes that are structured, generous, and approachable, showcasing a harmonious balance and a refined texture, ideal for a variety of occasions.
