Champagne house
Pascal Mazet
Pascal Mazet Champagne is a family-run estate nestled in the serene village of Chigny-les-Roses, located in the heart of the Reims Mountains. The house's roots trace back to a marriage in 1978, when Catherine, the daughter of a winegrower, wed Pascal Mazet, a farmer's son. Together, they embarked on their winemaking journey in 1981, gradually transforming their modest 2-hectare vineyard into a respected Champagne house. In 2018, their son Olivier joined the family business, continuing the legacy with a focus on creating natural champagnes. With a commitment to organic viticulture, Pascal Mazet Champagne has embraced sustainable practices since 2009. The estate's Premier and Grand Cru vines underwent a natural soil cleansing process, allowing for a more authentic expression of the terroir. The wines are matured in aged oak barrels, which enhance their character without overpowering the delicate aromas. Each cuvée is aged for a minimum of five years, ensuring a refined and complex profile that truly reflects the artistry of their craft.
