Michel Furdyna Champagne is a family-owned house deeply rooted in the Côte des Bar, where it has been crafting fine champagnes since 1974. The vineyards span six communes, including Celles-sur-Ource and Gyé-sur-Seine, and are characterized by a diverse selection of grape varieties. Under the guidance of Michel and his son Matthieu, who brings a fresh perspective to the family tradition, the estate focuses on blending established techniques with modern practices to produce exceptional cuvées. The house is particularly known for its commitment to showcasing the unique terroir of the region. With a predominant focus on Pinot Noir, the vineyard also cultivates Chardonnay, Arbane, Pinot Blanc, and Petit Meslier, each contributing distinct flavors and aromas. This dedication to diversity allows Furdyna to create surprising blends, such as the Étincelles cuvée, a delightful Blanc de Blancs, and the remarkable La Secrète, which features six grape varieties.
