Dérot-Delugny
Champagne Dérot-Delugny is a family-owned estate located in Crouttes-sur-Marne, at the heart of the Champagne AOC. With a history dating back to 1929, the estate has been dedicated to cultivating its vineyards across 13.5 hectares of clay-limestone slopes, benefiting from optimal exposure and a preserved environment that supports the ripening of grapes. The terroir is particularly suited for Pinot Meunier, which forms the backbone of their offerings, producing champagnes that are both generous and vibrant. Managed by the fourth generation of the Dérot family, Laurent and Claire, the estate emphasizes sustainable viticulture and environmental stewardship, holding certifications in High Environmental Value (HVE) and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne (VDC). Their commitment to quality is reflected in their winemaking approach, which includes exclusive stainless steel vinification and extended ageing on lees. The resulting champagnes, such as "Milieu Naturel," "Binôme," and "Bissextile," showcase a delightful balance of fruit maturity and freshness, embodying the estate's philosophy of producing sincere and expressive wines.
