Christophe Lefèvre
Christophe Lefèvre Champagne is nestled in the picturesque village of Bonneil, located in the western Marne Valley, near Château Thierry. The estate spans 4.3 hectares, predominantly planted with 75% Pinot Meunier, complemented by 15% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay. The house is committed to organic viticulture, utilizing traditional methods such as a classic press and adhering to lunar cycles for wine racking, ensuring that the natural flavors of the grapes shine through. The champagnes of Christophe Lefèvre are distinguished by their unique blending of robust wines from lower slopes and vibrant wines from higher elevations, resulting in exceptional finesse and complexity. This careful approach to maturation means that their champagnes are only released after a minimum of three years post-harvest, allowing for true depth of flavor. With a legacy rooted in respect for nature and a dedication to traditional craftsmanship, Christophe Lefèvre continues to be a pioneer of organic champagne production, contributing to the rich tapestry of this illustrious region.
