The story
Petit Meslier, a forgotten grape variety of Champagne, alongside Meunier: this is the essence of this cuvée.Two lieux-dits in the Vallée de la Marne shape it: the clays of La Fortelle for roundness, the sands of Chemin de l'Orme for vivacity.Entirely vinified in oak barrels, with less than 2,500 bottles produced, it has its place at a grand tasting as well as at an aperitif dinner.

The senses
I.
The colour is bright, straw yellow with numerous golden highlights.
II.
The initial nose reveals notes of ageing. Then come white flowers and linden, characteristic of Petit Meslier, before opening up to rose and strawberry.
III.
The attack is broad, tender, and fruity. The palate is very well balanced between freshness and indulgence, which persists to a long and extended finish.
